An error has occured trying to deliver the requested web page to you.

This could be
 A) because the page doesn't exist or
 B) because there is a problem with the site or
 C) your configuration.

The error has been logged and will be looked into by the Curious Developments Support Team but there are a few things you can try yourself:

1) Retry the home page - in case the error was transient.

2) Make this site a member of your trusted sites within your browser's settings (instructions below) in case your browser is blocking scripts and authentication cookies.

3) Try deleting your cookies - if you get an error when you go to the site and get an error first up after having used the site successfully before.

4) Try cleaning out your page cache (instructions below) - the temporary internet files your browser keeps locally to speed up revisiting a page.

5) Try turning of Nortons or MacAfee security software as a test - it might be blocking authenitcation cookies that log you into the site.


If you get no solution on your own, contact Curious Developments for support via email - be sure to let us know any error messages you get and what you were clicking when the error happened. If possible, let us know what browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox etc) you are using and whether you are on PC or Mac etc.

To make our site a trusted site in Internet Explorer

  1. Click on Internet Options in the Tools menu.
  2. The Tools menu has a gear icon on it.
  3.  Click on the Security tab.
  4. Click on Trusted Sites.
  5. Click on the Sites button.
  6. Type the "http://members.wires.org.au" into the textbox and click the Add button.
  7. Uncheck the Require server verification (https://) box.
  8. Click the Close button to exit the Trusted Sites dialog box.
  9. Click OK to exit the Internet Options dialog box.

How to delete Cookies in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. In the "Tools" menu, click on "Internet Options".
  3. The Internet Options pop-up window appears.
  4. Under the General Tab select the "Delete Cookies" button.
  5. Delete cookies by clicking "OK".

How to delete Cookies in Firefox

  1. In the "Tools" menu, click on "Options".
  2. The Options pop-up window will open.
  3. From along the left side of the window select the "Privacy" icon.
  4. This displays the Privacy Settings in the right side of the window.
  5. The option to erase the temporary Internet file "Cookies" is near the bottom of the list.
  6. Click "Clear" to delete cookies.

How to delete temporary internet files in Internet Explorer

  1. Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
  2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
  4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.
  5. Click OK.
