The report was compiled by the Intranet Steering Committee, and puts forward several motions to the SMC, which were discussed and passed as follows in Feb 2008.

Intranet Status update – Report received from Nadia along with an Issues Log,
Motion that the SMC approve proposal no. 1 from the Intranet Committee, to approve the expenditure requested for Pat to make the next round of improvements to the Intranet, moved Margaret Clinton, seconded Stan Wood, all in favour, motion carried unanimously.
Motion that the SMC approves the use of Chris Lloyd' time to assist with the incorporation of a full guide to the use of the Intranet into the RICC manual, moved Sharon Pullman, seconded Rick Ulyatt, 13 in favour, 1 against, motion carried.
Motion that the SMC approves the use of Chris Lloyd's time to assist with the development of a training CD for the use of the Intranet to branches, moved Bill Thompson, seconded Trish Edwards, all in favour, motion carried unanimously.
Motion that the SMC approves Nadia Lindop-Ward to attend the next Council meeting to give an overview and training on the intranet for all Council members in attendance, moved Caroline Enfield, seconded Jim Watt, all in favour, motion carried unanimously.
Inform Nadia that the roll out in SRO is already under way per previous SMC decisions.
